Paddy
Paddy is the cheeky chappy of the family. He will always be the baby of the group. Even standing at 18 hands — enormous by most horse standards — he still feels like the youngster to us, perhaps because we brought him home when he was just approaching two years old.
Maybe for that reason, he has never quite grown out of his cheeky habits. Throwing his feed bucket around the moment it is empty, or quietly untying himself when he thinks no one is paying attention, are just two of a very long list of Paddy’s party tricks.
Despite his mischievous side, Paddy has a wonderfully gentle nature. During our meditation sessions he is often one of the very first horses to respond, sometimes joining a group even when the session is centred around Sam. He seems naturally drawn to the calm atmosphere and is always curious to see what is going on.
